## Returns and Refunds

Everything we make is built to order for your room, so our policy is different from a store that sells from stock.

**Made-to-order pieces (shelves, mantels, boards, consoles, tables).** You may cancel for a full refund within 48 hours of placing your order. After 48 hours we have usually selected and cut your wood; cancellations after that point are refunded less a 25% material and labor charge. Once a piece is finished, it cannot be returned or refunded, except as described below.

**Custom and quoted work (extension tables, slab tables, built-ins, moulding).** Quoted individually and confirmed with an approved drawing and a 50% deposit. The deposit becomes non-refundable when you approve the drawing and we begin work. The balance is due before delivery.

**If something is wrong.** If a piece arrives damaged, or does not match the approved drawing or the description on our site, tell us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will repair it, remake it, or refund it, at our choice and at no cost to you.

**Wood is a natural material.** Grain, color, and figure vary from board to board, and solid wood moves slightly with the seasons. These are characteristics of real wood, not defects, and are not grounds for return. On tables and consoles we photograph your actual boards for approval before finishing.

**Our promise on joinery.** We stand behind our joinery for as long as you own the piece. If a joint fails or a slide sticks under normal use, we will fix it. Finish wear, water damage, sun fading, and damage from moving are not covered, but we are happy to refinish or repair at a fair price.
